iHue Shop

Terms & Conditions

Last updated 24 September 2026

1. What iHue Shop is

iHue Shop is a platform that lets independent merchants create their own online store and sell directly to customers. Every store on iHue Shop (at a *.ihue.in address, or a custom domain) is independently owned and operated by that merchant, not by iHue Shop.

2. We are a platform, not the seller

When you place an order on a store hosted on iHue Shop, you are buying directly from that merchant, and your contract for that purchase is with the merchant — not with iHue Shop. iHue Shop does not manufacture, stock, package, ship, or take title to any product sold through the platform.

3. Payments go directly to the merchant

iHue Shop does not collect, hold, process, or have access to your payment. Checkout on iHue Shop stores works via direct UPI transfer: you pay the merchant’s own UPI ID directly, and the funds go straight to the merchant’s bank account. iHue Shop is never an intermediary in that payment, never holds customer funds in escrow, and has no ability to refund a payment on a merchant’s behalf.

4. Merchant verification, and your own judgment

We ask every merchant for basic identity and contact information, and a platform administrator reviews a store before it goes live. This is a baseline check, not a guarantee — it does not verify the quality, legality, or authenticity of what a merchant sells, and it does not make iHue Shop a guarantor of any transaction. Before placing an order, we encourage you to review the merchant’s own storefront information, contact details, and Terms & Return Policy (shown on their store), and to reach out to them directly with any questions before you pay.

5. Order issues, returns, and disputes

Questions about a specific order — delivery status, product condition, refunds, or returns — should go to the merchant directly, using the contact details shown on their storefront or in your order confirmation. iHue Shop is not responsible for fulfilling orders, issuing refunds, or resolving disputes between a customer and a merchant, and does not mediate such disputes as a matter of course.

6. Account use

You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials (and the phone/email used to verify it) secure, and for all activity under your account. Don’t use iHue Shop for unlawful purposes, to impersonate someone else, or to interfere with the platform’s normal operation.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, iHue Shop and its operators are not liable for any loss arising from a transaction between a customer and a merchant, including (without limitation) non-delivery, defective products, incorrect listings, or payment disputes. iHue Shop’s role is limited to providing the software platform merchants use to run their stores.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time as the platform evolves. Continued use of iHue Shop after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Contact

Questions about these terms, or about the platform itself, can be sent through our contact page.
